After an $118 million refurb and rebranding job, the Singapore History Museum reopened as the National Museum of Singapore: the largest museum on the island. There are two main galleries: the Singapore History Gallery, which traces the history of Singapore from its beginnings in the fourteenth century to the present day and the Singapore Living Galleries, which focus on four lifestyle themes – food, fashion, film and photography. It’s worth a visit just for the building, an imposing neoclassical structure, complemented by modern glass additions. Shoehorning art and science into the same room and doing justice to both was always going to be a big risk. But by and large, the ArtScience Museum succeeds. Future World: Where Art Meets Science is a collaboration with Japanese art collective teamLab and features interactive experiences that are also perfect Instagram fodder. One could be forgiven for coming to Singapore and doing nothing but shopping, as this is a world-class city for style and designer chic. The Orchard Road area is a great place to start a shopping spree, as there are high-end stores at every turn. Shopping malls along Orchard are stocked with practically everything under the sun. Plus, there is always some kind of fair or activity taking place in the malls and shopping centres so there are probably more things to do Orchard than anywhere else in Singapore.

Udawalawe National Park: is far less crowded than Yala, which completely changes the experience, making Udawalawe a more satisfying safari. When we were there, we barely saw more than one or two jeeps. Whenever we spotted animals, we were by ourselves and felt so immersed and captivated by the moment. At one point, a small group of elephants with 2 babies crossed the path just in front of our jeep. They were so close, we could almost touch them. They stayed there for around 20 minutes, just eating and socialising with each other. This was one of the most magical moments of our safari at Udawalawe.

Adventure travel sailing in San Blas and winter 2020 deals

Adventure travel in San Blas, day tours and christmas 2019 deals! San Blas adventure travel tours are a trendy thing right now. San Blas is the most stunning place I’ve been to – no exaggeration. It’s just the most amazing turquoise water mixed with blue and the sand is perfectly soft and white. There are starfish by the dozens below and with the addition of the unique Guna people living on the islands like they did hundreds of years ago, fishing with line, and chopping down trees with their machetes, it’s just an adventure that you won’t want to miss. It brings people from all over the world – but it’s not mass tourism here. It’s still pretty and quiet and while we sailed around we barely saw another soul. This is mostly because people think it’s hard to reach and don’t add it into their Panama itinerary.

Our last stop, an island famous among sailors who know the best kept secrets in San Blas, gives you more time to swim in the beautiful calm waters. With two islands right next to each other and home to a big shipwreck, stranded on its outer reef, you can enjoy the pristine beaches and beautiful scenery. Between 3-4pm we will leave this island paradise and head back to the Port of Carti. Your driver will be waiting for you and safely drive you back to Panama City, dropping you off at your lodging by 7pm. San Blas is one of the last unspoiled and undeveloped places in the world and we hope you will get to experience the beauty of the islands and the innocence of the unique Kuna culture. For our guests who only have one day to travel to the “Guna Yala” nation, the San Blas Day tour is the best option and will surely make you want to come back again.

There are three types of island lodging: stay in an authentic Guna island lodge over the sea or with sea views, on a yacht or at the nearby, upscale Lodge. To get the experience the close to nature and and truly away from all things modern, we recommend a stay at a Guna Island lodge. We recommend Yandup Lodge and Coral Lodge, three excellent all-inclusive San Blas destinations. Yandup Island Lodge is a private island rated by Travel and Leisure magazine as one of the 50 best romantic getaways. If you want all the creature comforts and yet also be close to nature stay at the romantic getaway then check out Coral Lodge, on the coast near San Blas. See more info at San Blas day tour.

The 360 or so tropical islands off Panama’s northern coast are home to the Kuna people, who since a revolution against the Panamanian government in 1925 have maintained political autonomy from the mainland. As such, they control tourism on their own terms – a very rare thing for an indigenous group. They know how many visitors are coming to their islands on a given day, where they will be staying, and they benefit directly from most of the tourist dollars spent. Aside from fuel for their motorboats, much of it goes on education, health or permaculture.

Few attractions include Old Customs, It is a colonial-style building, built in order to serve as traffic control office Port San Blas. Today is the Casa de la Cultura in which a museum which houses some prehispanic pieces found in some localities home, you can also see traces of its construction based on thick and solid walls and its ancient arches gateway.

To stay true to the technology detox, resting is essential. And in the San Blas Islands, naps are best taken under the shade of the palms. Local families that own the islands sell anything from fruits to beach towels, which you can purchase for a picnic lunch in the shade. The temperature averages at 90 degrees year round, so sunblock and shade will be essential to a relaxing time in the islands.

Panama’s most famous attraction is by far the Panama Canal, connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Watching a massive ship, piled high with colorful containers, gliding quietly into the locks reveals the true enormity of this great feat of engineering. Taking a boat tour through the canal gives you even more perspective. If you want to simply see the Panama Canal, the best place to do this is at the Miraflores Locks, about 25 minutes from downtown Panama City. You can see the canal from the five-story visitor center, complete with a small museum, a restaurant, and an IMAX theater in a separate building. Read extra details on www.taotravel365.com.

Unrecognized countries tourism with Turkmenistan destinations

Unrecognized countries tourism with Abkhazia tours? The last day is reserved for the weirdest and most peculiar place in Kurdistan: Lalish. Have you ever heard of Yazidism? Yazidis are a religious group who mainly live across the Middle East, the Caucasus, Turkey, and Russia but Iraq has the largest population. Their religion is monotheist and it is a mix of Zoroastrianism, Islam, Christianism, and Judaism. It is a bit complicated so I don’t want to enter into details and I don’t really know it anyways. One of their holiest places is Lalish, a tiny village in Iraqi Kurdistan which has a very holy Yazidi temple.

The North Caucasus is a region of the Caucasus in Southern Russia, bordering Georgia to the south and Krasnodar Krai, Stavropol Krai, and Kalmykia to the north. Our tours consist primarily of tours to Chechnya, Dagestan, Ingushetia and North Ossetia, however, tours to other parts of the region are easily arranged. Chechnya, officially the Chechen Republic, is a federal subject of Russia. It is a Federal Subject of Russia located in the North Caucasus, and within 100 kilometres of the Caspian Sea. The capital of the republic is the city of Grozny. Dagestan, officially the Republic of Dagestan, is a federal subject of Russia, located in the North Caucasus region. Its capital and largest city is Makhachkala, centrally located on the Caspian Sea coast. See more info at Somaliland Tours.

The 1992-1993 war left most of Abkhazia in ruin. Even today, derelict, windowless buildings are more rule than exception, and their presence lends a bleakness to the landscape that’s hard to shake. You’ll catch glimpses of Abkhazia’s erstwhile grandeur along the boardwalk in Sukhum, whose lampposts and esplanade date back to Soviet times, and you’ll undoubtedly swallow hard when you arrive at the city’s abandoned parliament, a somber 12-story megalith of lightless rooms and flame-licked brick. Less-traumatic reminders of the republic’s pre-war past can be found in its flamboyantly designed bus stops.

A number of entities have declared independence and sought diplomatic recognition from the international community as de jure sovereign states. However, they have not been internationally recognized as such and left in an ‘unrecognized state.’ These entities often have de facto control of their territory, a government, a military, and a legal system. A number of such entities exist today and operate as functioning states. Discover additional info at www.politicalholidays.com.

5 top attractions in Musandam

Top places to see in Musandam: The Strait of Hormuz, a water body separating Oman from Iran, is one of the world’s busiest strait with nearly 20-30 tankers and ships traversing everyday. There are magnificent islands and rocky formations that make the place extremely scenic. Among other things to do in Musandam, make sure you savour a cruise on a traditional dhow boat. Tourists can take a day or a night cruise too. They sail from the port in Musandam to small villages like Nadifi, Qanah, and Maqlab. These cruises are a perfect way to admire the ancient houses and the local culture and lifestyle of the fishermen. There’s also a cruise that takes you to the Telegraph Island. In the Khor Shem Fjords, stop to admire rock formations that resemble wild animals. Avid bird-watchers can spend some time at Bird Island. Dolphin watching is a favourite amongst tourists.

Sail around the Beautiful Fjords of Musandam, As a coastal governorate, the locals of Musandam have built lots of traditional boats and dhows that they use for fishing, among other pursuits. More importantly, going for a boat ride with visitors and tourists is a must-do activity in Musandam. Going through the gulf waters, visitors can enjoy watching the unique fjords, while drinking Omani coffee (Kahwa) and dates, and chatting with locals. Visitors can also ask drivers to stop the boat so they can have a swim in the crystal turquoise waters of Musandam and enjoy the refreshing weather.

Musandam is beautiful and has many scenic locations that would be perfect for any occasion in your life. The spectacular inlets, untouched beaches, the lovely and quaint winding roads, the thrilling wadis – these are some of the many reasons why Musandam is becoming very popular as a tourist haunt. Just make sure you book your tour with the right operators and you’re guaranteed a smooth trip without hiccups.

The 28km (17-mile) coastal road from Khasab to Bukha is Musandam’s only surfaced connection with the outside world, a spectacular feat of engineering which winds dramatically around the sea cliffs and khawrs of the coast. The first few miles out of Khasab are particularly fine, blasted out of the feet of the mountains around Khawr Qida and revealing vivid bands of sedimentary layering. On the far side of the bay, Wadi Tawi has petroglyphs featuring camels, sheep and hunters pecked into the rocks. From here the road climbs up to the village of Al Harf at the highest point of the ridge, offering spectacular views over the Strait of Hormuz – on a clear day you can see Iran. It is another 12km (7 miles) or so from here to the quiet town of Bukha, home to an impressive seafront fort. See more details at Musandam Trip Offers.

Diving in Hurghada for german visitors

First we will talk about top diving places in the world, benefits of diving in Hurghada and ending with the introduction of Tauchkurs Hurghada , a diving school that is suited for everyone but especially the german speaking guests.

Experience Endless Adventure – Mexico: No matter what kind of adventure you seek, you’ll find it in Mexico. The Caribbean side offers colorful reefs, warm water and an underwater sculpture museum. On the Pacific side you’ll meet friendly seals and may encounter pelagics such as whale sharks and manta rays. Once certified, graduate to adrenaline-fueled cage dives with great whites off Isla Guadalupe, cenote (cavern) dives in Riviera Maya, or cruise the reefs of Cozumel.

Located in the Philippines, this tropical paradise is also (not surprisingly) a diving paradise. You’ll find all the usual suspects here, including eels and clown fish, as well as abundant reef systems. It’s the most popular place to dive in the Philippines and for good reason. When you’re tired of swimming below the sea, you can kick back and relax on the picturesque beaches. Double win!

Why Hurghada? Land-based dive resorts are an excellent choice for those with non-diving friends or family, and the Red Sea has plenty of these to choose from. However, it is Egypt’s liveaboard industry for which Red Sea diving is most famous – and for serious divers, these are often the better choice. Spending a week or two aboard a dedicated dive boat means more time on (and under) the water, affording you the chance to experience a greater variety of dive sites. Korea travel attractions

Top places to see in Korea and the fabulous korean massage, i believe i have your attention already! First let’s begin looking at some amazing South Korea attractions and a couple of words about the korean massage, something that any traveler to Korea should not miss!

Yes, it’s a touristy, ex-pat area filled with gift shops and street food, but the Itaewon neighborhood is a great place to just spend an afternoon wandering around. It’s especially fun in the early evening, when residents also come out to grab dinner and people watch. There’s an energy here that defines the cosmopolitan city, and it’s also a popular strolling spot for locals. You’ll see a lot of Korean families, kids, and couples, all enjoying the shops and restaurants. For those in search of authentic Korean food, this is not the place to come, but it is the place to come for international foods not widely available in Seoul. Things like Italian food, pizza, burgers, and American-style western barbecue.

Located in the heart of Seoul, Gyeongbokgung Palace is one of South Korea’s most iconic buildings. The incredible palace finished construction in 1395. However, over the years, various other rooms and structures were added to this incredible building. The two museums that reside within the palace walls include the Museum of Korea and the National Palace Museum of Korea. There are still a number of ongoing restoration efforts aimed at restoring this fabulous building back to the epitome of its former glory.

Itaewon may be known for its raucous nightlife, but tucked away just off the main strip of bars and restaurants is Itaewon Land, a five-story jjimjilbang made famous after its appearance in the body-swapping scene of Secret Garden, a popular K-drama. Its various relaxation rooms such as the pine room and salt room are sure to help you de-stress while its traditional sauna’s red clay room, and flat stone room will most certainly allow you to sweat out all the toxins from last night’s soju session. With a number of guest rooms available for overnight stays, Itaewon Land is also a great (and affordable) place to crash after an evening out on the town. Find extra details at https://msgkor.com/.

Located in the busy shopping district of Myeongdong, you can find an oasis in the form of a jjimjilbang for a little R&R. After a tiring shopping marathon, wind down and restore your energy at the Myeongdong Traditional Sauna. Open your pores in a steamy sauna, indulge in a facial cleanse or condition your skin with a scrub. Your body will thank you as you take a break from sightseeing and relax with one of the four packages offered. Once you’re rejuvenated, you can then move on to the street food marathon in Myeongdong!

RV security systems guides and used RVs for sale

A combination of freedom and adventure, RV life is amazing. But there are many aspects that can be optimized, to make your RV life even funnier. It’s good to have an idea of where to go, what to do and how long to stay but don’t have a rigid plan. Be flexible enough to have the option to stay a few extra nights or leave early. Every town we drive into is a new experience. Sometimes we love the town and sometimes it’s just not our cup of tea. Having a flexible schedule means we can stay longer in places we enjoy and take off early if we’re not feeling it. Have a “fun fund” for those spur of the moment adventures. If you decide that today is the day you want to go for that hot air ballon ride, do it! Having money set aside for these experiences will make that transition to RV living more enjoyable and fun. We always seek out free and cheap things to do in our travels, but there are some experiences that are worth the splurge.

You cannot start any project without having a budget in mind. You should sit and create a budget for your daily life in the RV. When making your budget, you should avoid any extravagant expenses. You can research online and find other RVers who have a similar lifestyle to yours. They can guide you on what to include in your budget. RV security system pick : Reolink Argus Wireless Motorhome Security Camera: While the first two products for RV security are alarm systems, this is a security camera. The good thing is that it is wireless and powered by standard lithium batteries. This means you will not have wires flying all around. Plus, it doesn’t matter if there is a power problem; your RV is still protected. Also, the batteries can last for about 180 days without replacement. That is 6 months of effective HD camera performance for your RV’s protection.

Schedule Time Daily for Decluttering and Simplifying. Even an hour a day will, day after day, make a big difference. Focus on One Small Area at a Time. For example, one drawer, one shelf, or one wall of your closet. Keeping your focus on one small area at a time will help prevent you from feeling overwhelmed. Small areas also make it easier to see progress, which is important for staying motivated. Make a Decision. Every time you pick something up, whether it’s a piece of china or a piece of paper, make a decision about it: keep, donate, or pitch. Don’t lay it down to think about later. Always make a decision.

RV parking tricks : Some folks drive their RVs solo, and although I can’t say much about hitching and unhitching a motorhome and car combo, our good friend Bob has found a great way to hitch and unhitch a fifth wheel trailer solo. He marked the front landing leg that’s near the extend/retract button at regular intervals all the way up and down the leg. Hash marks on a landing leg help get the rig back to the right height before hitching up. Then he numbered each hash mark. He keeps a pad and pen in the hatch near the landing legs button. When unhitching, once he’s raised the trailer to where he can drive the truck out from under it, he jots down the hash mark number that is visible on the leg. Then he drives out, parks, and returns to the trailer and raises or lowers the landing legs as necessary to get the trailer level.

Cheap travel by G9Trip and world attractions and top destinations selection

Looking for hot new travel places ? Here is my top 3 travel places to visit: The UNESCO-listed Tarxien Temples is the largest and best-preserved prehistoric cult site in Malta, consisting of four megalithic structures. Excavated in 1914, the site covers an area of 5,400 square meters and displays the artistic achievements of Malta’s mysterious prehistoric culture during the “Temple Period” (Late Neolithic Period) between 3,600 BC and 2,500 BC. Stone reliefs and sculptures that were found here are represented on the site by excellent reproductions; the originals are displayed in the National Museum of Archeology in Valletta. The stone walls of the four adjoining temples are decorated with surprisingly intricate spiral patterns and animal figures. The decorative South Temple contains the largest collection of art, including reliefs that depict goats, pigs, bulls, and a ram. There is also a unique statue depicting a fertility goddess with robust legs, small dainty feet, and a pleated skirt.

Top travel locations to visit in Costa Rica : For something a little different and a little off the beaten path, visitors may want to head to Tortuguero National Park on the Caribbean Coast. This area, accessible only by boat or plane, is one of the wettest areas in the country and offers something different than the rest of Costa Rica. The park is an extremely important breeding ground for the green sea turtle and as a result, turtle watching is the main activity here. While there are many beaches, the coastal area is not suitable for swimming as the surf and currents are rough and strong. Sharks are common. Hundreds and even thousands of green and leatherback turtles can be viewed (guides are necessary) nesting and laying eggs on the beaches overnight. Conservation efforts have increased the number of turtles nesting in the area. From the hiking trails or boat rides along the canals, it’s possible to spot monkeys, sloths, and kinkajous. Peccaries and tapirs are also present but more difficult to see. Freshwater turtles, lizards, snakes, frogs, toads, and other amphibians are also common.

Looking for info regarding top places to see in Galapagos? Santiago Island comprises some amazing tourist destinations, such as James Bay that offers you a great opportunity to watch Galapagos hawks and Darwin’s Finches. The shores of this beautiful island let your visit excellent spots to explore unique bird life in Galapagos. Sombrero Chino is an outcome of a recent volcanic activity, which has developed this volcanic cone, and this island is situated to the southern tip of the Santiago Island. It is lesser than a quarter of one square kilometer in size and derived its name from its appearance that resembles a ‘Chinese hat’. You can find aquamarine colors blended with basaltic blacks surrounding this fabulous volcanic cone. Watch interesting natural features, such as volcano, wonderful penguins, shark reef, and sea lions.

Bali is a fabulous destination, so much colour, a must see for any travel enthusiast. The largest of the Gili Islands, Gili Trawanagan (usually shortened to Gili T) is the one to visit if you want a few drinks and a dance after a long day of relaxing. It’s the most built-up of the Gili Islands and there are accommodation options to suit all budgets. There isn’t a lot to do during the day apart from diving and snorkeling, but if you want to spend some time sitting on world-class beaches while eating good food you can’t go wrong. The beaches on Gili Trawanagan (and its two neighbours) are better than any I’ve seen on Bali itself. Discover additional info at http://g9trip.com/.

Pollenca is known for its bustling port and beautiful bay of mesmerizing deep blue seas. In the shadow of the Pollenca and Calvari Mountains, the charming medieval town has two important churches. Nuestra Senora de los Angeles (Our Lady of Angels) is the town’s 18th-century parish church built on the site of a 13th-century church. From here, a cypress-lined staircase of 365 steps leads up the Iglesia de Puig del Calvari, a Baroque pilgrimage chapel. The historic center of town is only steps away from the beaches. A popular choice is the Port de Pollenca. This gorgeous white-sand beach has an expansive shoreline and moderate waves. The beach has a yacht club, water sports rentals, public toilets, and showers. Sun parasol and lounge chairs are available for rent. Cala en Gossalba is an isolated beach in a remote protected location, accessible by foot or boat. The shore is gravelly rather than sandy. Both Cala en Gossalba are Port de Pollenca beaches are ideal for scuba diving.

Boasting of rich variety of flora and fauna, this national park was initially known as Palamau Wildlife Sanctuary. Betla is home to elephants, leopards, tigers and several species of birds. There are many watch towers and hides that are meticulously deployed around the water holes for offering better opportunity to spot animals here. The Taj Mahal in Agra is an immense mausoleum of white marble, built between 1632 and 1653 by order of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife. Called “a teardrop on the cheek of eternity” it is one of the masterpieces of Mughal architecture, and one of the great tourist attractions in India. Besides the white domed marble mausoleum the Taj Mahal includes several other beautiful buildings, reflecting pools, and extensive ornamental gardens with flowering trees and bushes.

Built as a military structure in 1565 by Emperor Akbar with later additions by Shah Jahan, the stunning Agra Fort (also known as Agra’s Red Fort) is an interesting mix of both Hindu and Muslim influences. Located a little more than two kilometers from the Taj Mahal, the fort is entered through Amar Singh Gate with its low outer wall and dogleg design built to confuse attackers. Once inside, you’ll see two large interlinked sandstone buildings, Akbari Mahal and Jahangiri Mahal, the largest private residence in the complex. Other highlights include the Khas Mahal (Private Palace), with its splendid copper roof, and the Anguri Bagh (Grape Garden), a jigsaw-patterned Mughal garden with numerous wonderful fountains and water channels as well as screens that once offered a private area for the emperor and his entourage. Also of note is the octagonal Musamman Burj tower, which later served as Shah Jahan’s prison until his death.

Best Sri Lanka wildlife safari

Sri Lanka safaris and holiday tours … an amazing destination that we will focus in this post. Both Yala and Udawalawe have stunning landscapes, so whichever park you decide to visit for your safari, you will find the landscapes very enjoyable and unique. Yala National Park: has a huge variety of landscapes from forests, grasslands, lagoons to sandy beaches. Block 1 which is the most visited part at Yala is mainly covered by forest and grasslands. You will also see loads of waterholes where wild water buffaloes like to bath. There are also a large number of metamorphic rocks scattered around Yala with Elephant Rock one of the most popular and Instagrammable.

Sri Lanka is proud of its natural bounty. For over 2,000 years, swathes of land have been preserved as sanctuaries by Sri Lankan royalty – Mihintale, the world’s first reserve, was created here in the third century BC. Now there are 100 areas of protected land in the country, and this is the pick of the bunch… Located in the south-east of Sri Lanka, Yala is a beautiful area of lowland dry scrub sitting on a long stretch of coastline, punctuated by rocky outcrops. It is the premier national park of Sri Lanka, and arguably one of the best for mammals in Asia. The top draw is the Sri Lankan leopard, a sub-species endemic to the country; in certain areas of the park, the average leopard density is as high as one cat to every square kilometre. During the fruiting of the palu trees in June and July, sloth bears are often observed. Other animals you might spot include sambar (a large deer), spotted deer, buffalo, wild pig, stripe-necked and ruddy mongooses, langur monkey, toque monkey, golden jackal and Indian palm civet. The combination of freshwater, marine, scrub and woodland areas ensures a high diversity of birds. Indeed, the park hosts 220 different types, and serious twitchers have recorded 100 species in a single day. Ardent birdwatchers should also visit Bundala National Park (an hour away) or the Palatupana Salt Pans (ten minutes away), especially for migrant shorebirds. Hiking in Riverston Sri Lanka was an unexpected highlight of my journey throughout the island. Riverston is a region best defined by the popular term, ‘off the beaten path’. We drove for several hours, parked in the middle of nowhere and then embarked on a hike. We headed across the river and through the rice fields and farmland. There is minimal signage but luckily we had our guide Lukobanda to guide us up. The hike doesn’t have a specific name according to the locals other than the Riverston Hike. The hike looks out over the Knuckles mountain range and the surrounding highlands. It’s one of the short day trip hikes in the area. The end of the hike ends with a sharp 300m drop, which made for some pretty epic photos. From here you can chill and take in the views of the Thelgamuwa Valley, the terraced rice fields, and the Knuckles mountain range. This spot is called ‘The Worlds End’.The hike is 5km long but not incredibly difficult.

This white sand beach in the small seaside town of Unawatuna is a great place to relax. There are a number of snorkeling and diving operators in town who take advantage of the abundance of coral reefs just off the beach. Colorful fish and plentiful turtles are the norm in these waters. There are a number of great dining options along the beach, which welcome visitors to use their sun loungers and relax the day away with a drink in hand. Visitors can find Gal Viharaya in the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. Gal Viharaya is a famous Buddhist site and is celebrated for its many caves and large sculptures of Buddha which are carved into the rock faces. They are extremely well preserved, even though they were crafted in the 12th century. To the side of one of the statues, a code of conduct is inscribed. The code, when followed, was meant to purify the Buddhist monks and bring them together under one order. It was created by a very famous king: King Parakramabahu the first. Today, Gal Viharaya is one of Sri Lanka’s most popular sites of pilgrimage.

eTA application and Top destinations in New Zealand : Located on the southwest side of the South Island, Queenstown has a well-deserved reputation as the adventure capital of New Zealand. During the winter and spring months (June to October), Queenstown is known for world-class skiing. Of course, there’s plenty to do in Queenstown year-round. Adventure activities such as bungee jumping, skydiving, jet boating, and river rafting will let you experience the region from dizzying heights and at breathtaking speeds. Queenstown is also home to the world’s highest cliff jump, the Shotover Canyon Swing, where you can hurl yourself off a cliff in a number of different ways—including backward or tied to a chair. If you haven’t lost your appetite (or your lunch) on these adrenaline-pumping activities, enjoy the dining scene in Queenstown—it’s one of the best in New Zealand. As locals and tour guides alike will tell you, one of the best places to eat in Queenstown is Fergburger, which CNN says “may be the best burger joint on the planet.”

Looking for info regarding Galapagos travel attractions? An attraction that combines fun and education, the Interpretation Center of San Cristobal aims to introduce visitors to the rich history of the islands. The center was put together by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development, the Galapagos National Park management, and the Charles Darwin Foundation. Visitors exploring the center will learn many fascinating pieces of information about the island’s history. For example, the Natural History Room goes into an in-depth exhibit of the volcanic origin of the islands. There are other rooms dedicated to the island’s colonization, flora and fauna species, and conservation of the land. See more info on Search for a Cheap Car Rentals & Rental Car Deals.

Swim With Whale Sharks: Another popular water activity in Isla Mujeres is to swim with Whale Sharks (it’s also one of the top things to do in Cabo San Lucas). During the summer months of June to September you can see this beautiful creatures. Whale Sharks can reach a length of 14 metres and they are really just gentle giants weighing in at around 15 tonnes. Official regulating bodies have put a cap on tours at around $125 per person. The tour includes swimming with the whale sharks, breakfast, lunch, soft drinks, snorkel equipment and usually some time to snorkel the reefs. It is illegal to touch the sharks and you must keep a distance of 2 metres. It’s important that you do your research and go with a reputable, eco-conscious tour company that regulates and respects the rules.

There are plenty of reasons why Venice is a location worth visiting but the architecture in this city comes high on the list of reasons. Saint Mark’s Basilica is not only one of the most beautiful focal points in the city, it is also of historical and architectural significance. This stunning cathedral is one of the most prominent and recognizable structures not only in Venice, but in Italy as a whole. The oldest parts of the building were constructed in 828 AD and it was originally the Chapel of the Doge and was connected to Doge’s Palace. Although many aspects of this structure have an Italian design, it is clearly influenced by the Byzantine architectural style. It has many gold decorative features on the façade. For this reason, it has been given the nickname Chiesa d’Ora, meaning Church of Gold, since the 11th century. Read more info on Compare Flights.

Nepal trekking advices for an amazing travel location. Here are some tips if you plan to tour Nepal. Bring Some of your Favorite Treats. For many people, including myself, it can be very difficult to eat at high altitude. Even with all of the physical energy you are exerting, for some reason, food does not always sound good when you are at altitude. Personally, I am not sure if it is nerves of the unexpected for me or the altitude at all, but forcing myself to eat in the mountains can be a daunting task. The main thing to remember regarding this is that you are burning a TON of calories while trekking in the Himalayas and your body needs to replenish these calories if you want the best possible chance of being successful. It is so important to eat, whatever it may be, to get in these much needed calories. This is why I always pack a few extra goodies in my bag before leaving home! Having some familiar food favorites in the mountains can be just the push you need on tough days to get through them. I have been known to bring anything from protein bars to peanut butter and a bag of my favorite sweets in my pack, when I might need an extra kick! Don’t let this scare you into thinking that you will not have enough food to eat in the mountains”? this is far from the reality. You will be overwhelmed by the plethora of food on offer every meal, everything from eggs to stir-fry and spaghetti is always on offer as you order your food from a menu at the majority of the tea houses. There is always plenty of food to choose from in the mountains, but when your tummy is having a hard time with the altitude, those familiar snacks may be all you can get down. So remember, within reason (you definitely do not want to be carrying too much un-necessary weight up the mountain), bring yourself a little treat when for you may need it the most!

Langtang area is famous for trekking. The area is less crowded and best for different kind of taste of culture and Himalayan views. The close up views of Langtang Himalayan range is mind blowing. The scenery here is spectacular, and the trek more adventurous as the area is visited by fewer tourists. To the west of Langtang is Ganesh Himal with a range of 6000 to 7000 meters. The Gosainkund and Helambu region lies to its south; these can be combined with Langtang to make treks from 7 days to 21 days. The area was designated Nepal’s first Himalayan National Park in 1971; it is inhabited by Tamang and Sherpa people whose religious practices, language and dress are much more similar to those of Tibet than to the traditions of their cousins in the middle hills. The forests in the region have temperate and sub-alpine vegetation. Wildlife includes migratory birds, deer, monkey, Tahr and Pika. The best time for trekking the Langtang area is spring and autumn. Most of the trekking routes in Helambu and Langtang are well served with teahouses making independent trekking quite possible. But there are no such facilities in the Ganesh Himal area or Ganja La area. A journey to the Langtang valley offers an opportunity to explore the Tamang villages, climb small peaks and to visit glaciers at a more comfortable altitude than other trekking regions.

Advices : Pack Tang. Bring tang to flavour your water. Water can get pretty boring and you have to stay hydrated at altitude. Flavoured water helps you to drink more and is far more enjoyable than just water all the time.

Avoid the Sun – Taking care of your eyes and skin is important. Sunburns happen much quicker at high elevations so make sure to apply sunscreen a few times a day and wear a hat. Sunglasses are a must have and if you wear prescription glasses it’s good to have a pair of prescription sunglasses or at least clip-ons. If you have an extra day in Kathmandu before the trek you can buy prescription sunglasses for around $25 which is quite a good deal.
